Nazareth House Cheltenham

Nazareth House Cheltenham Assisted Living Facility is a large nursing care home managed by the Sisters of Nazareth, a Catholic organisation founded in London in 1851 by French missionary Victoire Larmenier. Located just a couple of miles away from the University of Gloucestershire, Nazareth House provide a full suite of care for adults aged over 65 years. The facility, which is just the latest of many charitable endeavours of the organisation since they came to Cheltenham in 1916, is run based on the ethos of respect and the celebration of individuality.
The amenities here include a chapel, where Reverend David Fox leads the Daily Mass, and a gorgeous garden. Patients here also have a full recreational calendar which includes poetty reading, music, exercise sessions, quizzes and bingo. There is also a group of volunteers called the Friends of Nazareth which performs a variety of tasks to enhance the quality of life patients here.
