Take on the TOUGHEST sporting challenge in the County and race the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Steam Train over Cleeve Hill on Saturday 13th Oct 2012.
This year we have the ultimate running challenge: 14 miles of Man Against Machine.
You'll set off at 12pm alongside the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Steam Train before tackling Cleeve Hill to Winchcombe, a distance of 6.61 miles.
When you get to Winchcombe you can either complete the return journey or pass the baton to your friend to complete the 7.39 miles back.
Click here to see the full course details.
This event really will test your strength and stamina with an average 8 minute mile seeing you or your team beat the train.
But anyone is welcome to come and give it a go, there is no requirement to beat the train, so if you're looking for a running event with a bit of a twist, then why not come along and join in the fun?!
Friends and family who aren't keen on running can take part too by riding on the train.
As places are limited on the train, we kindly ask that each participant to restrict their tickets to two initially. We will email all participants nearer to the event to let them know if more places are available.
