Outpatient Care
It is important that patient and families can access our services
in a very flexible way as everyone’s lives and needs are so
different. Many of our services are therefore offered on an out-patient
basis. Appointments are available throughout the week whilst other
services are running.
Out-patients can include:
- Individual counselling sessions for patients and family members/carers;
Complementary Therapy service; Diversional Therapy programme;
- Group sessions for MS patients; nurse appointments; lymphoedema
clinic for patients with mild-moderate lymphoedema following a
cancer diagnosis;
- Family Support advice (Practical information and advice on
areas such as grants, benefits, housing problems, holidays and
holiday insurance as well as wills and funeral arrangements.

is not so much interest in the individual as in the disease or the
statistics, but at the Hospice you are always cared for as a person”
