Event Description
Our 2012 Mens Walk takes place on the 25th February and this year we are offering a choice of two walk distances - 5 miles or 10 miles. Both will start and finish at Kingsholm Rugby Football Club, home to Gloucester Rugby Club.
Once again you will enjoy a Festival of Rugby with two fantastic matches: England v Wales in the RBS Six Nations, shown live in the Shogun bar, followed by the live match of Gloucester v Harlequins, at Kingsholm Stadium, kick off 6pm.
Included in your registration fee is:
- One ticket to watch the live Gloucester v Harlequins match
- Voucher to receive a 'pie and pint' at Kingsholm Shogun Bar
- Raging Bull, Mens Walk t-shirt to wear on the day
We are delighted that Phil Vickery has once again, agreed to support our event;
"The Mens Walk is a lads' day out with a difference - a chance to get together with some mates, watch some great rugby and make a special difference to patients and their families throughout Gloucestershire. Last year the blokes raised an incredible £69k so let's beat that this year!"
All money raised will go to support the work of Cotswold Care Hospice. It costs £2.4 million each year to provide our services offering support to the people of Gloucestershire with life limiting illnesses. Our Hospice at Home nurses support patients and their families at home, allowing the patient to live their final days at home surrounded by their families. All of our services are free of charge but with the huge challenge of raising £2.4 milllion annually, we really do appreciate your support.

Register online for Mens Walk 2012*Note: There is no minimum age for the Mens Walk but all those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult who must sign a consent form prior to the event.
Please note that places are limited and tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Early registration is advisable as places fill fast! Entries will close on 22nd February 2012.
