Exciting News;

Cotswold Care Hospice plans to expand its creative therapy services, thanks to a £116,000 government grant.

The Department of Health grant, announced this week, will pay for two-thirds of the extension at our Hospice at Minchinhampton.

The expansion will allow us to develop our range of creative therapies, and offer them to more people with life-limiting illnesses and their carers.

“We’re thrilled to learn about the Department of Health grant which will go a long way towards the cost of our creative therapy extension.

This grant represents two thirds of the overall costs, leaving us to find £55,000 in order to complete the project.”

Welcome

Cotswold Care Hospice is a local charity based in Gloucestershire providing specialist care 7 days per week, 365 days a year.

We offer a wide range of services which provide care for people living with or affected by a life limiting illness.

As an independent charity, in 2013 it will cost us £2.8 million to provide our services, however they are free of charge to all the people who use them.

Hospice services support patients, families and carers from the point of diagnosis onwards. This includes day therapy, counselling, education and a range of outpatient services. Care at end of life is provided by our Hospice at Home service and continues after death through our bereavement support programme.

Our future is driven by the needs of the people we support - Cotswold Care Hospice will continue to develop and deliver a full range of services  tailored to local need.

Please note that our website is currently under construction and review and some areas are currently out of date.  Please contact the web editor on fundraising@cotswoldcare.org.uk if you notice an error.
