About Education

Our education department is a major provider of palliative care education across Gloucestershire and beyond. It is dedicated to providing a high quality education service designed to meet a range of individual learning needs, within a supportive and learning environment. The service is for hospice staff and volunteers as well as other health and social care professionals across the county and beyond. Those able to access the service include community hospitals, care homes, social services, hospices and community nursing teams including GPs and Allied Health Professionals.

We offer a variety of educational study days in palliative care and disease specific courses often in collaboration with specialist clinicians and practitioners from hospital and hospice teams.
