Deputy Shop Manager - Stroud

Part-time 30 hrs – over 4 days a week
This position requires the applicant to be willing to work every Saturday.

Actual salary starting at £11638 per annum, £7.46 per hour

We are looking for people with retail experience, creative flair, good interpersonal skills and a caring personality to help lead and support a small, enthusiastic team of volunteers, assisting the manager in running the shop and acting as Shop Manager in their absence.

Our growing numbers of shops are one of the most important ways in which we raise money to support people living through the challenges of life-limiting illness.  So you will work in a worthwhile position not just helping us to turn a profit but also helping to improve the lives of the people we exist to help in Gloucestershire.

Our Stroud shop also sells an interesting range of bridal wear.  As Deputy Shop Manager, you'll create the kind of welcoming and well-laid out retail environment that our customers love.  This will be a hands-on role involving the selection, pricing and presentation of donated stock, and customer service.  The successful applicant will need to be self-motivated, and positively committed to working in charity retail and maximizing sales.
